Steve Austin & Hulk Hogan On HUGE List Of Returning WWE Legends For "Raw Reunion"

WWE announce nostalgia special during Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan were among the litany of WWE legends and former stars advertised for a "Raw Reunion" special for 22nd July.

The trailer promised 'The Rattlesnake', 'The Hulkster', Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Ted Dibiase, Kurt Angle, Scott Hall, Jerry Lawler, Christian, Jimmy Hart, Santino Marella, D-Von Dudley, The Hurricane, The Boogeyman and brand new SmackDown Executive Director Eric Bischoff would all be in attendance at the show - the second to be stewarded by new Raw chief Paul Heyman. There'll be just three weeks to go before SummerSlam, with the company very possibly looking to utilise all the major names to add heat to the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer' as The Undertaker did for Extreme Rules.

It's unclear yet how WWE intend to employ such a star-studded cast, but they'll be hoping the laundry list draws a healthy rating at very least. It could, however, be approached with some trepidation - the company's last notable nostalgic foray was Raw 25 in January 2018 and featured many of the above names used to horrific effect across two New York venues.

The Raw Reunion will hopefully improve upon that, at very least. Expect more names to be added to bolster the blockbuster between now and showtime, too.
