Sting Interview Announced For This Week's AEW Dynamite
This week's AEW Dynamite will feature Sting being interviewed by Tony Shiavone.
Wrestling legend Sting will be speaking for the very first time on this week's episode of Dynamite as the star joins Tony Shiavone for an interview, AEW have announced on Twitter.
Shocking the world last Wednesday by suddenly debuting in the wake of Cody Rhodes and TNT Champion Darby Allins victory and subsequent beatdown at the hands of Team Taz, WCW icon Sting returned to TNT for the first time since 2001. Yet, once the dust had settled on this instantly iconic AEW moment (the video is currently sitting at 2 million views on YouTube, and counting), fans immediately started to wonder exactly why "The Stinger" chose to appear when he did?
With the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion now set to appear on this week's episode alongside Tony Shiavone, perhaps we'll learn a bit more about what drove him to appear on the All Elite show and what his plans are going forward.
Sting's debut wasn't the only truly shocking moment that went down on last week's Dynamite, either.
In the AEW World Championship main event, Jon Moxley was defeated by Kenny Omega after the latter struck the former Champion with a microphone, gifted to him by Impact Wrestling's Don Callis. How will Mox bounce back from this controversial defeat? What will the new Champion have to say for himself post-victory?
