Sting To WWE: 10 Great Ways He Can Be Used

3. Feud With Kane

wikipediawikipediaGiven one choice of a legendary WWE Superstar to face Sting in a match and many fans would probably say The Undertaker. Indeed, The Deadman does seem like the perfect talent to lace up the boots for Sting and it's that dream match that likely tops all others that have been discussed among the WWE faithful. But perhaps the real dream match does not lie with The Phenom but with his storyline brother Kane. The Big Red Machine may be the ideal Brother of Destruction to take on Sting. While the match itself may not be the marquee bout that Sting versus Taker would be, the fact is that at this point in time Kane is the more logical choice and it would work from a storyline perspective. Kane is the enforcer for The Authority, the man responsible for keeping other Superstars in line. He does the dirty work for Triple H's corporate organization and at the end of the day he does very little anymore for himself. He gave the assist to Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank to climb the ladder and pull down the guaranteed WWE World title shot. And on the same night he also attempted to help Randy Orton win that championship in a ladder match that he himself should have been working to win. The Demon Kane is at the service of Triple H and is becoming more hated because of it. This is the perfect spot for Sting to step in and make an impact. He would be the man to stand up to Kane, to best the monster when he is seemingly at his most powerful. While some fans may consider this match to be a consolation prize compared to Sting versus Undertaker, the truth is that working Kane would be no less entertaining. Their gimmicks match up well and their ring styles would mesh together too; there is nothing about this one that would not work for fans. Sting would be an opponent like no other for Kane because he would not have a potential main event career hanging in the balance like Daniel Bryan did. Nor would he have an agenda for revenge like Roman Reigns does. All Sting would do is play mind games as only he can. He would bring the fight right to Kane and he would be the one opponent that The Authority could not break. Sting would face the monster head on and he would not rest until he brought him down. And after that, there's only one thing left to do.
