1. The Sting GM Role?
TNA.comIf Sting's WWE deal doesn't allow him to do anything physical, that doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't be able to feud with Lesnar. One rumour has been that Sting will be coming in with a General Manager role. This speculation only got stronger after WWE cleared the way for a new GM by 'firing' Brad Maddox. If Sting is indeed filling this role, then expect him to feud with Lesnar in every aspect other than a match. The Stinger would be a bit like the 'sheriff' character which Steve Austin portrayed in 2003 - 2004. Sting could lay the law down to Lesnar, dictating to him that he must compete at Night Of Champions. He could also play the enforcer role, acting as the special referee for Cena vs Lesnar at SummerSlam. It's a way to get over Sting's babyface credentials, a way of leveraging Brock's heat as a bad guy. From a fan point of view, we have to hope that the GM idea doesn't prove true. Seeing Sting wrestling in a WWE ring is a moment we all want, and the monster heel Brock Lesnar is the big opponent he needs.
