Sting vs The Undertaker: 10 Angles WWE Must Play Out

3. The Road To Wrestlemania Begins

Undertaker Vs Sting WWE TNA The 2015 Royal Rumble arrives, with favourites Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler among the 30 men entering the ring that night. Of the handful of Rumble debutantes, the most high-profile is Sting, who makes his first appearance at the age of 55. He draws a respectable #20 spot, and enters the ring firing on all cylinders. Out goes Alberto Del Rio. Out goes Heath Slater. Out goes Curtis Axel. Out goes Dean Ambrose. Everyone that was in the ring when Sting first entered has been eliminated by the man himself. As the clock ticks down for entrant #21, Sting stands in the corner of the ring, wondering who the next person will be to stand between him and championship gold. Bong. Bong. Bong. The arena goes black while smoke fills the air. Ominous music starts to play, and there he is! The Undertaker is pacing towards the ring with more purpose than he's had in years, and his sights are firmly set on the man in the ring. The two come face to face for only the second time, and the staredown lasts all the way until the arrival of #22, a poor Zack Ryder, who gets thrown over the top by both Sting and Undertaker. Not even waiting for Ryder's feet to touch the floor, Sting grabs Undertaker's legs and hurls him over the top rope, incensing the Deadman. He climbs back into the ring and unleashes hell on Sting, exhibiting his first heel-like behaviour in years, and eventually throws Sting over the top rope. The two continue to battle up the ramp and into the back, and when the camera returns to the scene later, Sting is found knocked out on the floor, with his trademark baseball bat lying beside him.
