Sting getting a WWE title shot at some point makes sense. It's a big match setting and something which he has never pursued before. There'd be intrigue in seeing him fight for it. If it was against someone like Daniel Bryan you have the added bonus of it being against a safe reliable worker who could get an epic match out of the more limited star. It only seems right that the man who has done it all at least battles for the WWE title. Whether he would win it is a different matter altogether. In some ways it would be a cherry on the cake for a career which has seen and done it all. In other ways, WWE need to be looking to the future. One thing for certain, if WWE are serious about the Undertaker match, they need to build Sting up as much as possible as a contender. The WWE title prop could be very useful in that regard. Another match which could possibly make sense is Sting versus Bray Wyatt. That contest has some interesting character dynamics WWE could exploit. A feud with Randy Orton could also be effective if Orton (who is struggling for relevancy after Mania) re-adopts his legend killer gimmick.
