Sting To WWE: 10 Ways To Book His Debut Now Undertaker Has Gone

10. Sting Vs The Rock At WrestleMania 31

The Rock Vs Sting The battle of the sharpshooters, a war between a WWF icon and WCW icon, two charismatic pro-wrestlers meeting on the grandest stage of them all ... Rock vs Sting has it all. The Wrestling Observer brings up that Rock has previously expressed a desire to work with Sting. He described him as one of the few men he ever wanted to work with, naming the others as Rey Mysterio and Randy Savage. Obviously since those comments were made, Savage has died and Mysterio's physical condition and headlining capacity is questionable. That leaves the Sting match. The Observer debates whether this would really be a good idea, particularly when you consider Rock could work a more high profile bout with Brock Lesnar next year. Still, Rock vs Sting has a nice ring to it, it has a cross-generational sell and would be of entertaining quality in the ring. Whether WWE think it would fit on the WrestleMania stage in 2015 and whether it is worthy of Rock's high price tag is another question. However, given that they've brought Sting in after so long, they have to do something special with him. Rock is one of the few names who really can make it seem a major deal, so no doubt the idea of Rock vs Sting will at least be pitched at some stage.
