Suicide Squad 2: 7 Characters Dave Bautista Could Play

6. Chemo

Chemo might not be the most conventional of Suicide Squad characters, but he's definitely one of those that you could imagine James Gunn being drawn to.

Given his experience working with CGI characters on Guardians - and Groot in particular - Gunn will probably be drawn to having a surrogate character in his Suicide Squad (even with concerns over the first Suicide Squad's effects) and having a monster made of toxic waste with a similar personality to Drax or Groot would absolutely fit.

You can see Bautista (clearly heavily hidden by effects) in such a role, taking full advantage of the comedic potential of having something so... disgusting with an actual heart. And there are few Suicide Squad members who can compete with Chemo for impact, that's for sure.
