22. E - Edge

Another intense rivalry that emerged relatively late into The Undertaker's career, his 2008 conflict with Edge spanned four pay-per-views and even saw 'The Deadman' briefly banished from WWE altogether.

After concluding one of the greatest WrestleMania matches in history in March, the two clashed again at Backlash, Judgment Day, Tables, Ladders & Chairs and Summerslam, in a variety of devastating encounters.

Dovetailing with the complex Edge/Vickie Guerrero relationship, the feud saw Undertaker employ his gogoplata submission hold 'Hell's Gate' with such impact that the move was banned by the malevolent Smackdown General Manager to protect her storyline husband.

The peak of the feud came ahead of the aforementioned banishment, as Edge would score a dramatic victory in a TLC match after sending the 45-year old 'Deadman' hurtling through the air onto four stacked tables.
