The Complete A-Z Of Wrestling In 2018

17. J - Johnny Gargano

His latter-year heel turn (and follow-up promo) may have been devised, but it was hard to argue against the magnificence and majesty of 'Johnny Wrestling's 2018 before that point.

The Gargano/Tommaso Ciampa feud has defined them both this year, generating one white hot match after another fuelled by 'Johnny Wrestling's believable hatred and Ciampa's broken soul. Gargano was sucked in to such an extent that he too has become a purveyor of the dark arts ever since, though 2019 will hopefully see him migrate back to the side of good if he's to gain true redemption on his fiercest foe.
