The man at the centre of global scandal in October was once again hosting WWE in November as Vince McMahon survived a media circus to bring his travelling one to Saudi Arabia for the second time in six months.

WWE got through the utterly abysmal Crown Jewel because they had to. Having faced backlash for linking arms with a country that prohibited the female half of their roster from even performing, the company blocked out the righteous anger around Jamal Khashoggi's murder to get through the second show of a ten-year deal.

Money spoke louder than all the protests, but WWE have nine years left to cope with the ramifications of a cold, hard cash-based call.
