A mid-year transformation for 'The Irish Lass Kicker' threatened to crash and burn when she transparently parroted a post-heel turn promo scripted by those not listening to audience responses, but Lynch, WWE and the crowd rapidly became sympatico as 'The Man' came around.

Lifting the Women's Title from Charlotte in their first high profile singles clash since the turn was crucial - she'd backed up everything she'd said and was clearly somebody it was safe to support. An incredible Twitter game and the manner she battled back from an errant Nia Jax punch made it impossible not to, and she now stands on the precipice of the first ever all-female WrestleMania main event as a result.
