This is pro-wrestling 101 - take six great big guys, stick them in the ring, have them crash into each other at a great pace, job done. There isn’t a great deal of impressive technicality here, but for sheer spectacle it’s something you’re not going to see elsewhere.

The Smoking Gunns are there to fill out the numbers, but Tatanka is a real ball of energy, and the Headshrinkers always convey a real sense of hard hitting menace. Then there’s Bam Bam Bigelow, one of the most compelling big guys ever to step into a ring.

There’s a certain level of racial insensitivity that comes with the times, but this is pure cartoon fun. Bam Bam and co are given a dominant chunk in which they land a hilarious triple headbutt, then miss a triple swan dive from the top that must have put the ring’s integrity to the test.

Tatanka is hugely over and grabs the win with a slightly limp roll up - this is no masterpiece, but as a high intensity, car crash six man wrestling, it’s a great time.
