5. Vs. Moose
His two short stints in Impact allowed Cody to check off another name on his list.
After dispatching Mike Bennett and losing a championship match with Impact's World Title holder Eddie Edwards in his brief 2016 run with the company, Cody returned in February and feuded with Moose.
(Oddly enough, the feud began after Cody discovered Moose had Brandi's cellphone number. But feuds have been sparked for less. At least it wasn't a shampoo commercial.)
This led to Cody challenging Moose for the Impact Grand Championship, which was a better showdown than many expected. Although unsuccessful in the attempt, Cody stood toe-to-toe with the champion and came out looking like a star.
Should a third run with the company materialize, Cody will have a solid track record to lean on in GFW.
