The Many Faces Of Jon Moxley - Ranked From Worst To Best
1. The Shield (WWE)
Will he ever top the original Shield run? It's doubtful.
That group was a bolt of lightning that WWE needed in November 2012. Their Survivor Series debut remains one of the best in history, and their subsequent run worked 'cause every member had a different purpose. Rollins was the quick, flashy one, Reigns the big destroyer and Ambrose the violent, cerebral type.
Between 2012-2014, The Shield were one of the hottest acts in pro wrestling. Their music rocked, their SWAT-style presentation was instantly provocative and they were taken seriously by the folks penning television. That made it impossible not to think they were the coolest thing going.
It may be controversial to a handful that Ambrose in The Shield (first time around) tops this list, but that run deserves it. Revisit those early Shield moments on the Network to see a guy who stood out from the rest of the crowd on the mic and didn't wrestle like anybody else either.
It was awesome stuff.
