The Many Faces Of Jon Moxley - Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Dean Ambrose (FCW)

Ambrose turned a lot of heads in FCW.

He was given a good spot straight away by feuding with Seth Rollins, and then worked a one-off match with CM Punk on a house show in October 2011 that earned him rave reviews backstage. The next year, Dean confronted 'Hardcore Legend' Mick Foley and blamed him for recklessly inspiring young wrestlers to be violent.

That gimmick was never fully-explored. WWE dropped any tentative plans for an Ambrose vs. Foley match and decided to move Dean onto The Shield experiment later that year. Still, he got his first taste of social media buzz from the well-publicised worked shoot, and people were interested to see if he could explore those 'Loose Cannon' Brian Pillman-style traits on the main roster.

FCW was a positive experience for Dean. It made WWE chiefs aware of his unique skill set, bagged him comparisons to the likes of Pillman and Roddy Piper, and gave him the chance to work with those further up the food chain.
