The Many Faces Of Jon Moxley - Ranked From Worst To Best

4. The Lunatic Fringe/Unstable (WWE)

Differentiating between the 'Lunatic Fringe' and 'Unstable' portions of Dean's WWE career is pretty hard, because they both kinda' bled into one another. Post-Shield split, he rocked an everyman character (albeit one who had lost his mind), and that turned him into a viable babyface.

Ambrose was at his best in WWE when the company let him express himself a little more. As both the 'Fringe' and the 'Unstable' one, he got to do that, and that made feuds with Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins more fun. It's just a pity such freedom didn't last before creative shut Dean down with ill-needed comedy and a laid-back flavour.

That sucked, but his original singles run was promising.

Maybe it's the fact that Ambrose himself hadn't totally soured on WWE life yet - perhaps that made his late-2014/early-2015 work more watchable. He had energy, and it looked like the future was bright. It was, although not in WWE.
