The Many Faces Of Triple H - Ranked From Worst To Best

At WrestleMania XV, Triple H turned on his degenerate buddies and helped Shane McMahon defeat X-Pac. He took on a new look by getting a hair cut, wearing traditional wrestling trunks and started dressing in black. Along with Chyna, he signed on with The Corporation, which later merged with The Corporate Ministry. Oh yes, he also got a pretty sweet theme song too.

This was a time of transition for Hunter, as fans had known him as an upper-mid card babyface for the past year, but Vince saw him as his next great heel. While Undertaker was the top dog in the Corporate Ministry stable, Hunter was not far behind.

It didn’t take him too long for fans to accept him in a top slot, as after a feud with The Rock — with their heel/face allegiances switched up — Hunter was entered into his first pay-per-view main event as a solo act against Mankind and Steve Austin at SummerSlam 99. While he came up short at the show, the following night he captured the gold against Mankind and established himself as a major player in the business. His was away from stables and (mostly) on his own as he took on the wrestling world.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
