The Rock: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

Snitch sees The Rock going into far darker territory than usual as he attempts to take on a drug cartel in order to spare his son jail time, and though it has issues, it's a refreshingly serious effort from Johnson.

Less about action and more about slow-burn tension, with a great cast including Susan Sarandon, Jon Bernthal, Barry Pepper and Michael K. Williams, there's a lot here to like if you're game for something a little more subdued.

Not the film to see if you're craving The Rock breaking bones and shooting guns for two hours, but an interesting showcase for his more straight-laced acting chops all the same.
