The Rock: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

7. The Fate Of The Furious (2017)

Fate Of The Furious Dwayne Johnson
Universal

The eighth entry into the Fast and the Furious franchise may not reach the nutty highs of the series' last few movies, but it's still an extremely entertaining action flick, which is an achievement in of itself at this point in the series.

Director F. Gary Gray does a splendid job with the action sequences, which while perhaps not quite as insanely cartoonish as Furious 7's skyscraper-hopping antics, are still some of the most ludicrous the series has ever seen.

One of the movie's highlights is Johnson's two-hander with Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw. Their prison break sequence is arguably the best set-piece in the entire movie, and this became clear enough to Universal that they've since greenlit a spin-off buddy movie co-starring the two.
