The Rock Praises Forgotten WWE Attitude Era Star

Even The Rock can't believe the physical shape THIS ex-WWE star is in today.

Steve Blackman Bio
WWE

A fan on Twitter/X has posted a screenshot of The Rock praising ex-peer Steve Blackman - Rocky commented on a picture posted by @WrestlingNewsCo on Instagram. It came completely out of the blue for most people, because Rock taking time out of his busy schedule to praise a member of Head Cheese feels rather random.

It happened though.

The Rock commented to say that 60-year old Blackman "looks incredible". He then put Steve over for "always [taking] great care of himself" physically, and surprised some folks by adding: "Also [a] super good dude who I liked a lot".

It was the last bit that caught people off guard. Blackman is a bit of a forgotten face from WWE's 'Attitude Era'. He did have fans at the time, but is best-remembered for some wonky promos and his aforementioned comedy tag-team with Al Snow.

Rocky valued their time as peers though. The pair worked a string of bouts against one another between 1998-1999, with most of them coming right before The Rock blew up into a main event star. 'The Great One' must've enjoyed those matches!
