The Rock's 10 WWE World Championship Reigns Ranked From Worst To Best
3. WWE Championship (6th) 25 February 2001 - 1 April 2001
This reign features the match and video package that immediately springs to mind when thinking of The Rock's runs with the strap: Limp Bizkit's My Way, and the main event of arguably the best wrestling PPV of all time – The Rock vs. Steve Austin for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania X-Seven.
The Rock only held the title for 35 days, which is why it’s not even higher on the list. He won the WWE Championship for the sixth time at February’s No Way Out, dethroning Kurt Angle. After a month of sharing the most memorable segments in WWE history with Steve Austin on RAW and SmackDown, ‘The People’s Champion’ lost the title to ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ at WrestleMania after Austin turned heel and joined forces with Vince McMahon in his home state.
If you have never watched that match, you should do it. In fact, you should do it now!
