The Undertaker's 10 Cringiest Moments
7. Destroying The Ring
It's no secret that Undertaker's preferred opponent for WrestleMania 22 was Kurt Angle, with whom he was supposed to share a five star classic on the Grandest Stage. In the end, he had to make do with Mark Henry, and his match against the Olympic Gold Medalist was booked for February's 'Mania pre-cursor No Way Out instead.
Clearly, WWE was keen to give a feud between two of its biggest ever stars the big match build-up it deserved, but we probably could have done without the electric bolts and finger-tip vapour trails. The Dead Man summoning lightning was pretty cringe-worthy for those of us watching on television, but spare a thought for the live audience, who hadn't the benefit of the screen effects (and who, presumably, had to watch 'Taker awkwardly turn and walk backstage after finishing his staring contest with Angle).
