The Undertaker On Hulk Hogan's Netflix Premiere Anti-Pop: "In Life, Things Come Back" (WWE News)
WWE legend 'Taker drops details on backstage reaction to Hulk Hogan's Raw on Netflix nightmare.
Fans have had fun recently digging up some of The Undertaker's old comments about Hulk Hogan's now-infamous appearance on the 6 January 2025 episode of Raw. There, the returning Hogan and fellow legend Jimmy Hart were booed out of the building whilst promoting Hulk's brand of beer in a cameo spot on WWE's flagship TV show.
Backstage, a crowd of people gathered to find out what Hogan's reaction would be once he returned behind the curtain. 'Taker told his Six Feet Under podcast co-hosts this past February that he wasn't actually there at the Gorilla Position for that, but he does remember that there wasn't much sympathy for the Hulkster inside the building on the night.
When asked if he felt sorry for Hogan, Undertaker simply said: "No".
Then, 'Taker added: "Sometimes in life, things come back". That comment was surely in relation to racist remarks Hulk had made years before that tarnished his reputation for good. Undertaker thought Hulk's attempts to "no sell" booing from the live crowd as WWE beamed live around the world on Netflix were painful to watch.
WWE Scrapped Follow Up Hogan Appearances After Raw
Originally, WWE had hyped up that Hogan would be there for the Saturday Night's Main Event special on 25 January, but he didn't appear as planned. Reports circulated that Hulk had pulled out of the booking "due to family commitments". Whether true or not, it's fair to assume that Triple H and other WWE chiefs must've been concerned following Raw's debut on Netflix.
They'd watched Hogan get booed out of the building live, and even one of the most charismatic mic men in industry history was powerless to turn things around or alleviate some of the scathing heat during his segment at all. That spoke volumes about the distaste WWE's audience has for Hulk in 2025, so it would've been foolish to heap more misery on everybody at SNME.
It's unlikely that the company will put Hogan in this position again anytime soon. If they do and things go the exact same way, then it's also unlikely that 'Taker will have any sympathy for him.
