The Undertaker's 10 Best Biker Matches

7. The Undertaker Vs. Ric Flair (WrestleMania X-8)

The Undertaker 2002 Big Evil SummerSlam
WWE

The dictionary definition of an ‘all out brawl’, this match showcased the intense aggression of The Undertaker as Flair flopped and sold like only he can, while blood poured by the bucket load. The No Disqualification stipulation allowed for the match to never hit a dull spell and created scope for quite possibly the greatest example of a Spinebuster, when Arn Anderson interfered on his old friend’s behalf.

Leading up to Wrestlemania X-8, The Undertaker had been screwed out of a chance at the main event by Flair, who was acting as an authority figure on TV. The event acted as a further catalyst to The Undertaker's brutal, bullying ways as he sought to get revenge and set up a showdown between himself and the Nature Boy.

The match was Flair’s first Mania appearance in over a decade, and he played the role of defiant victim as perfectly as anyone ever has. Standing up to The Undertaker’s antics, Flair fought as best he could - but ultimately became another legendary name in The Streak’s legacy.

Fans of technical wrestling should give this one a wide birth - but for storytelling, passion and brutality you can’t go wrong.
