The Undertaker's 10 Greatest Feuds Of His WWE Career

9. Vs. Sycho Sid

As Undertaker continued to take care of loose ends involving Paul Bearer's Executioner and new-found ally Vader, his path became entwined with the WWF World Championship title picture. After a series of multi-man tussles involving not only Vader, but also Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Undertaker would soon have his sights set on "Sycho" Sid Vicious for the championship in the main event of WrestleMania XIII. By most anyone's reckoning, the match itself was anything but good, but there is more to the feud than that. Though Undertaker had tasted the gold once before with a defeat of none other than Hulk Hogan himself, his reign lasted less than a week. Moreover, it didn't do a lot to raise his overall standing in the company, shy of the occasional note from announcers that defeating him would make other wrestlers a number-one contender for the belt. With his defeat of Sid, however, Undertaker became a more permanent fixture in the title picture, with this second championship lasting until SummerSlam. Following that, he would hold the belt four more times, among many other championship reigns. But this is essentially where the idea of Undertaker as a champion of any sort all began.
