The Undertaker's 12 Most Likely WrestleMania Opponents
6. Roman Reigns
Dean isnt the only Shield alumni who has a shot at taking on Taker this year (Seth Rollins would be ranked here too if he was healthy). WWE has huge plans for Roman, he is their guy right now, the next face of the company. The most logical plan for him at WrestleMania would be to either defend his championship against HHH or Brock Lesnar. If WWE decides to go in a different direction, they may find a match with Taker as a nice consolation prize. The problem is that Roman would be booed out of the building. If Takers Streak was still in place, Roman pinning him would create massive heat, which could lead to a nice heel turn. Or, they could keep him as a face, and just go with the old show of respect moment post-match, the kind that Taker did for Jeff Hardy years ago. Fans may not buy it, but its at least a nice gesture. Roman is not getting over in the way to justify his top role in the company. Eventually, hes either going to have to earn his keep, or WWE will have to turn him heel. Its doubtful that it will happen before WrestleMania (perhaps Taker enters the Rumble and tosses him out fairly setting up the feud), but if the company does get cold feet on going all-in on him, its not out of the realm of possibility.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
