The Undertaker's 12 WWE Hell In A Cell Matches From Worst To Best

4. Vs. Brock Lesnar - No Mercy 2002

I'm sure that many people will be getting hyped for the forthcoming Lesnar/Undertaker Hell in a Cell match by watching their first cell clash from No Mercy 2002 on the WWE Network, and with good reason. It is a gripping contest, one that was very different from the cell matches of previous years. Instead of being built around spectacular bumps, Brock and 'Taker instead built their cell match around the psychology of Brock going after his opponent's 'broken hand', with 'Taker using the cast himself to try and combat Lesnar's attack. Then it degenerated into both guys just being manly men and wanting to hurt each other because they hate each other (a concept that modern day WWE cannot seem to grasp). Brock bled. 'Taker bled (heavily I might add). Hell, even Paul Heymna bled. It was that kind of match. Eventually, after over twenty five minutes of brutal action, Brock F5'd his way to victory. He was supposed to beat 'Taker the month before at Unforgiven but The Deadman wasn't feeling it, so it was changed to a double dq instead. The win was worth the wait. This was the best and most dominant Brock had looked in his WWE Title reign up to that point. Bring on the rematch.
