The Undertaker's 12 WWE Hell In A Cell Matches From Worst To Best

3. Vs. Triple H - WrestleMania XXVIII

You'd think that after the truly brilliant pair of matches he and Shawn Michaels had, that anything 'Taker would do at WrestleMania after that would be a disappointment. How pleasantly surprising, then, when he and Triple H assembled another pair of certified show-stealers and Match of the Year contenders. Their first, a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania XXVII, was outstanding. Their Hell in a Cell match the next year, however, was just that much better. As an added bit of intrigue, Shawn Michaels was deployed as the special guest referee. Given the guys involved, their part-time status and the fact that it was becoming ever harder to get people to buy the streak ending, I don't think they could have produced a better match. This was two absolute warriors going at it hammer and tongs and proving why they are two of the very best in the world. The best moment of the match was the heart-stopping near-fall following a Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree combination. Come on, admit it: they had you on that one. 'Taker won but, in an act of manly sportsmanship, all three men embraced on their way out. This truly was the end of an era. But what an end it was.
