This Top WWE Personality Was Backstage At AEW Revolution

AEW's latest pay-per-view drew a big backstage visitor from WWE.

Renee Young was backstage at All Elite Wrestling's Revolution pay-per-view this past Saturday night.

This is according to a new report from PWInsider claiming that the WWE Backstage host was in the house to support her husband, Jon Moxley, who became the AEW World Champion by defeating Chris Jericho in the night's main event.

A WWE personality going into an opposing promotion's locker-room would usually cause all kinds of problems. Not for Young, though: Moxley has previously claimed that Renee is untouchable in the company and has absolutely no fear of reprisal for acts like this.

Young has been under WWE employ since October 2012. She has occupied a number of roles for the promotion across multiple brands, but it hasn't always been plain sailing. Talking Smack's cancellation in 2017 saw Renee publically criticise the promotion for shunting her back into a regular backstage interviewer's role, though she has since found a great spot on WWE Backstage. That she has knocked this out of the park shouldn't come as a huge surprise: it's what she always does.

Also backstage at Revolution were notable indie wrestlers Effy and Mance Warner, with the latter a rumoured signing target for AEW.
