LA Knight has admitted he wondered if WWE fans might reject him "being shoved down [their] throats" as quickly as he was. The breakout babyface sensation told Busted Open Radio that there's always a chance pro wrestling fans will turn on someone if they're pushed "too fast".

That hasn't really happened to him though.

Knight also told the radio show that he's interested to see where his career lies a year from now. He realises his prospects could "flatline" and "everything dies", but there's also a chance he could "just shoot to the moon again" and enter the main event scene permanently.

The guy fancies more headline goodness after working Roman Reigns back at Crown Jewel late last year, put it that way. However, LA is mindful of overthinking things and "trying too hard" when he could be enjoying the ride. There's no doubt Knight has a cool connection with WWE's fanbase, and he doesn't want to spoil that by forcing anything.

Knight has a grudge match vs. AJ Styles at WrestleMania 40 to look forward to next month. He's focused on that, then what happens next will take care of itself.
