Those Times Wrestlers Dodged Career-Killing Bullets

While the rest of the names on this list each didn't literally dodge any bullets that would have swiftly brought an end to their time within the wrestling business - or on this planet - to an end, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts actually... well, did.

Back when Roberts was locking up with fellow icon Sting in Dallas, Texas many years ago, this legend was actually shot at by a fan watching on.

That's right: as Roberts would explain in an appearance on Derricks Reptiles, a guy on the ninth row taking in that contest suddenly pulled out a pistol and fired off three shots towards him.

They all ended up missing, with Roberts managing to literally avoid the gunfire and get himself under the ring to avoid any potentially fatal injuries. 

This 'Snake' clearly had some serious heat, folks, but was thankfully able to survive this rather shocking life-threatening experience and continue adding more chapters to his Hall of Fame career.
