TNA has launched an internal investigation after domestic abuse allegations.

TNA Wrestling has launched an internal investigation into accusations of domestic violence from Masha Slamovich towards her former partner Alexander Atkisson, aka pro wrestler AKIRA.

These allegations come after Bam/Jasmine, a friend of AKIRA's, took to X to post screenshots of conversations purported to be between Masha - real name Anna Khozina - and AKIRA. That X post also includes a Dropbox link to 114 images of alleged evidence of domestic abuse.

Sports Illustrated reached out to TNA management about these allegations last night and received a response of, "We take any allegations like this very seriously, and have begun an internal investigation." SI also reached out to Masha Slamovich, but has not received a response as of now.

AKIRA has responded to these allegations with a detailed X post, addressing his former relationship and stating how there were three occasions where he nearly took his own life.

A regular on the Death Match scene and beyond, AKIRA has made a name for himself in recent years with his work in the likes of MLW, CMLL, GCW, for Josh Barnett's Bloodsport, and overseas with promotions like Big Japan Pro-Wrestling. He's also competed for Prestige Wrestling at times, and Prestige has now moved to pull Masha Slamovich from its upcoming Roseland XII event next month. Instead, Masha has been replaced by TNA's Dani Luna to go up against ex-WWE favourite Shayna Baszler.

Slamovich has also been pulled from West Coast Pro's How The West Was Won event on 1 November, where she was scheduled to face Miko Alana.
