TNA To Sue WWE?
The exact allegation filed by TNA in the lawsuit include breach of duty of loyalty, civil conspiracy and violation of the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secrets Act. An injunction is set for June 11, 2012.
The Nashville City Newspaper is currently reporting that TNA has filed a lawsuit against WWE and one of it's own former employees - Brian Wittenstein who left TNA earlier this year. In the story it is alleged that only a number of days after Wittenstein was terminated by TNA he approached WWE with insider secrets" as pertain to TNA talents contracts, the companies marketing strategy and other sensitive information which they feel gives the WWE an unfair advantage in the market. TNA believe that it is through the actions of Wittenstein that 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair was able to illegally enter into negotiations with World Wrestling Entertainment and they fear that other members of the talent roster may follow suit. The news comes only days after it was announced that Flair and ex-Motor City Machine Gun Alex Shelley have left the company and are likely headed to WWE.
