TNA's Future - 7 Ways It Could Go

6. Dixie Finances TNA Herself

Right now, TNA is surviving purely because of international deals. Pop TV isn’t paying them enough money to stay on the air forever, their merchandise is anemic and live attendance is non-existent. Someone has to step in and fund this thing to keep it going. Maybe...just maybe the owner will do it. Wouldn’t that be crazy?

While Dixie may have put some of her own money into TNA over the years, it certainly hasn’t put her in any real financial danger. When she appeared on Steve Austin’s podcast, she basically bragged about the size of her ranch, and how it was bigger than Stone Cold’s. Those aren't the words of someone nearing the poor house.

Maybe she’ll realize that she should have some sort of responsibility to the men and women who rely on her for a living, and if she truly believes in the product, then she'll put some of her own finances on the line to make this thing work.

Worse case scenario: she loses a lot of money and moves to a smaller ranch. Well, it still probably is not going to happen...but it could!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
