Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham is best remembered for his lacklustre, "It's...It's Christian" commentary when the star returned via the old ECW brand, but that isn't the only story detailed during his appearance on Chris Van Vliet's 'Insight' show.

Grisham actually revealed that it was Vince McMahon who encouraged such a disinterested call, then went in-depth on some backstage hazing he experienced at the hands of several on the active roster.

According to Todd, The Brooklyn Brawler spread rumours amongst talent that he'd called wrestling "fake". That led to some gentle ribbing from many, but Bubba Ray Dudley took it seriously and demanded that Grisham apologise to everybody one by one.

For reference, Todd called Bubba "the biggest a**hole the WWE has ever seen".

Dudley "berated" the announcer and told him: "You don’t belong here. You should never be hired". Confused, Grisham looked at the wrestler like he was having him on, but recalls Bubba Ray being totally "serious" about the whole thing. That eventually led to some in-ring hazing from none other than Batista.

Todd told Van Vliet that other wrestlers encouraged 'The Animal' to powerbomb him for kicks. Grisham, who wasn't really trained, was aghast at the thought of this - he explained how Batista got him into position for his finish, "then grabs my underwear and freaking rips them straight up".

Alarmingly, Grisham said his "freaking butt crack was bleeding afterwards, raw as hell", and he was "scared to death". As if that wasn't enough, notorious tough guy Hardcore Holly got in Todd's face after the rib and screamed: "You think this is fake? I’ll kill you in the parking lot right now".
