Tony Khan Bans Hulk Hogan From AEW
Hulk and Linda Hogan are both on AEW's blacklist, it seems.
Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife Linda are both banned from attending All Elite Wrestling events.
This is according to company President Tony Khan, who tweeted the following in response to Linda on Tuesday:-
Linda has deleted the tweet Khan was replying to, though it read: “watching the looting , it’s all afro Americans, not sure how robbing and stealing set the record straight but if they want to be heard they need to be civilized.” (h/t Wrestling Headlines).
This played out during Blackout Tuesday: a movement designed to protest racial inequality around the world following all that has happened since George Floyd's tragic death at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer.
It's extremely unlikely that 'The Hulkster' would have any interest in attending an AEW show at the moment anyway. He is seemingly under WWE contract, back in the company's good graces, and called into action several times a year, so there's little chance he'd even consider appearing for the smaller company. Regardless, it wouldn't be completely outwith the realm of possibility if he ever found himself let go by WWE again: just look at his TNA run.
For now, though, the Hogans won't be lighting the fuse.
