Top 10 Women In WWE History

6. Sable

Starting as a model for Guess Jeans and Pepsi, Rena Greek probably never imagined herself in the professional wrestling business until she married Marc Mero. Soon, the stunning blonde was accompanying her husband to the ring and she became a giant star due to her massive...personality and willingness to pose in in Playboy magazine. Sable started become popular with the audience when Marc Mero turned heel and started turning into a possessive jerk, screaming at Sable and demanding she remain in the back during his matches. Soon, Sable moved into the ring to take her revenge on Marc and Mero even jobbed to Sable's powerbomb, probably destroying his career in the process. In April 1999, Sable started what became a tradition for WWE Divas by posing for Playboy magazine. To show how popular Sable was during this time, the April magazine became one of the best-selling issues of Playboy in history. On camera, Sable turned heel and played someone who had an €œinflated ego€ (which was apparently not far off from her real-life personality) and became extremely unpopular backstage. Due to her backstage mistreatment, Sable quit the WWF and filed a $110 million lawsuit against the company. She eventually found that her wrestling popularity did not follow her into mainstream entertainment and she returned to WWE in 2003. Soon after her release, Sable became romantically linked with Brock Lesnar and, despite her new husband's run in WWE, has yet to return to television. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we haven't seen the last of Sable on our televisions.

Mike Shannon hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
