Shinsuke Nakamura has suggested that he isn't happy in WWE, doing so in an Instagram comments thread over the weekend.

The SmackDown wrestler uploaded a short promo clip aimed at Apollo Crews to the platform. This led to one commenter, @lostkingshamnar, stating that Nakamura should stop "wasting" his talent in WWE. When another Instagrammer chimed in to suggest Shinsuke was happy with his role in the company, Nakamura responded with the following:-

Nakamura had not yet deleted the comment at the time of writing.

A standout showing in a Universal Title contendership gauntlet match in January suggested a big push was on the horizon for Nakamura in 2021, though it was reported in the aftermath that Nak's elevation was only intended to be short-term, with the Japanese star told his role would be to help create new stars going forward

That gauntlet spot was originally intended for Cesaro, who was removed from consideration as he hadn't yet signed a new long-term contract with WWE.

Nakamura has been with WWE since 2016. He left NXT as a two-time champion on the brand in 2017 but has yet to replicate that success on the main roster, despite winning the 2018 Royal Rumble.
