It's widely known that several major WWE wrestler contracts are coming up in 2024, but a current champion will see their contract expire in the months after WrestleMania 40.

Fightful Select reports that World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins' deal is set to expire in June 2024, and as recently as a couple of weeks ago, there have not been any discussions regarding a contract extension. However, Fightful notes that sources said that there "obviously" will be an offer made at some point, with some adding that re-signing the Visionary will be a priority for WWE.

Rollins, Fightful notes, is "well-liked and respected" in WWE, hence the keenness to re-sign him. When asked, a WWE official commented that they wouldn't dispute Seth's 2024 expiry.

Currently, the World Heavyweight Champion's WWE contract is due to expire in June.

In the wake of AEW launching in 2019, WWE signed several wrestlers to long-term, five-year deals, which will expire next year. It's unclear whether Rollins signed one of those five-year contracts or if he inked a deal at a different time.

Rollins is a central character in WWE, becoming the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion in May and anchoring Raw throughout the year. He currently has been engaged in a war of words with the newly returned CM Punk, setting the stage for a major program between the two.

Seth isn't the only former world champion whose contract expires in the new year. His wife, Becky Lynch, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre also have deals up in 2024, with Fightful noting that Lynch's deal is up in June as well.

Fightful has reached out to Rollins but has not heard back.
