Top WWE Star Legitimately Injured On Raw

One of WWE's biggest names was legitimately hurt on last night's Raw.

The injury sold by Kevin Owens on last night's WWE Raw was legitimate.

KO was seen getting checked out by a medic after partner Sami Zayn's NXT North American Championship match with Dominik Mysterio, which Owens was ringside for. The scene saw Kevin quip that he thought he had broken something.

But this is no work. Insider Twitter account WRKD Wrestling states that although WWE is using the injury to further ongoing storylines, it is legitimate - though there is currently no word on how long Owens will be out for.

Per WRKD:-

Kevin Owens has suffered a legitimate injury that is being used to advance the story. It is currently unclear how long he’ll be sidelined.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has corroborated the injury's legitimacy after following up.

Owens, along with The Judgment Day's Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, was thrown out from ringside for brawling during Zayn vs. Mysterio. He was later attacked backstage by Priest and Ripley, distracting Sami long enough for Dominik to roll him up and land the pinfall.

Owens and Zayn have been WWE's unified Tag Team Champions since dethroning The Usos at WrestleMania 39 in April. Understandably, KO's injury will raise questions about their reign's status.
