On the 21 May 2001 episode of Raw, Triple H and Steve Austin were working a hot Tag Title match against Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit when Hunter's quadriceps muscle suddenly rolled up his leg. That excruciating injury didn't stop him from striving to finish the match.

Triple H suffered through Jericho's submission on the announce desk before hobbling (with some help from referees and other officials) up the ramp. He'd be out until January 2002, but finished his match. What a tough-as-nails act that was.
