Triple H: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

2. Triple H Vs The Great Khali - WWE Title Match, Summerslam 2008

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4nlHQM9voc When appearing on The Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast, Daniel Bryan remarked that John Cena was one of the best workers he knows because he managed to get a really good match out of The Great Khali. The same can not be said of Triple H. When The Cerebral Assassin faced off with Khali at Summerslam in 2008 it was a horror of a match. The Indian giant is just too big to effectively maneuver through a wrestling match, Hunter struggled to manage to do anything believable or entertaining. Most of the offence came in the way of Khali slowly applying a range of rest holds to Hunter. Using his hands was just about all the Indian could manage, and most of the action was centered around grip moves and nerve holds. Following a few Khali chops, the end came when Hunter managed to power out of a Khali grip to nail the pedigree. It was over. Thankfully. The whole thing sucked, and while it may have been Khali's fault, this is still going down on this list as one of Triple H's very worst matches.
