Triple H: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

3. Triple H Vs Scott Steiner - World Title Match, No Way Out 2003

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fxCDuGHebY Take your pick between Triple H's effort with Scott Steiner at Royal Rumble 2003 or No Way Out 2003 - both sucked. What did WWE expect? They put together two men who were carrying way too much muscle for their natural physique. I won't speculate much on the source of this mass of muscle other than saying they must have really been hitting the gym. Mobility, pace and stamina was an issue for both men. The No Way Out match went a tedious 13 minutes and 1 second, a bout that involved little action and various time killing spots with Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton. The wrestling was none existent beyond rest holds and poorly timed power moves. Hunter won with a weak title belt shot to Steiner's head behind the referee's back, followed by a pedigree. The contest was so bad that it won the Wrestling Observer award for worst worked match of 2003. The Steve Austin vs Eric Bischoff match that followed on the No Way Out card was of better quality and in-ring psychology. On this night, Eric Bischoff was a better worker than Triple H. That's embarrassing.
