Triple H: Face Or Heel?

8. Drawing Power

Face: Neither of Triple H's two WrestleMania main events as a babyface were anything to write home about, and neither one was solely responsible for drawing a huge number. As a face, Triple H regularly played backup to better heroes on the same card (like The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan in 2002 and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker in 2009).

Heel: No contest.

Fans couldn't wait to see the smug prick get his head kicked in by The Rock or Mick Foley on WWF pay-per-view in 2000. Those twin feuds ended up being a blessing for Trips, and they turned him into a genuine box office draw.

Winner: Heel.

Triple H was far more successful at enticing dollars out of fan wallets when he was playing the bad guy. He couldn't match that as a baby.
