7. Triple H vs. Cactus Jack (Hell In A Cell) - No Way Out 2000
Just one month after an all time classic at the Royal Rumble, Triple H got together again with Cactus Jack for a Hell In A Cell match at No Way Out 2000. This time, Cactus Jack would be putting his career on the line in the cage that he helped make famous. This match was originally intended to be Mick Foley's (Cactus Jack) retirement match, but we all know how well that usually works out in the wrestling industry. After Foley's memorable Hell In A Cell match with The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998, this match with Triple H was highly anticipated at the time. It was Foley's first Hell In A Cell match since an encounter with Kane in August 1998, and this would be the first time that Triple H would compete in the massive cell. In the build up to the match, Triple H gave Foley the chance to choose any type of match he wanted for this encounter, and it was on an edition of RAW IS WAR that Foley chose Hell In A Cell. Foley pulled out all stops in what he believed would be his last performance. Thumbtacks, a flaming barbed wire two-by-four, and steel chairs were all fair game. Eventually, both men moved to the top of the cage and Foley received a back drop that resulted in him falling through the cage to the ring below. Triple H retained the WWE Championship.
