Triple H's 10 Most Notorious Urban Legends

9. He Wanted To Quit WWE To Pursue A Movie Career

Story: During the mid 2000s, Triple H was bit by the acting bug and there were all kinds of rumors that he was contemplating a full time movie career similar to The Rock. His biggest film role at that time was in the Blade: Trinity movie starring Wesley Snipes. He did a good job in the film although it wasn't a huge hit. Aside from a few TV roles here and there, his acting career didn't take off. He did star in two WWE films The Chaperone and Inside Out in the earlier 2010s, but aside from that there's not much to speak of. Why People Believe It: Hunter has a big ego. In his mind he may have felt that if he was able to succeed at wrestling then he could be a movie star too because wrestling is acting in a lot of ways. Should We Believe It: No. It seems like one of those farfetched stories that was out there because maybe somebody in WWE wanted him to become more of a movie star since they knew he would never leave the company for an extended period of time like The Rock did. If he was able to get a big role it would have been a huge thing for the company. Hunter seems to be locked in his position with WWE and wouldn't even take a movie role if it was offered to him.
