Ultimate Warrior: Always Believe DVD Review - 5 Things That Ruled And 5 That Sucked
3. Exploring The Vince/Warrior Relationship
Vince and Warrior's relationship is a weird one, to say the least. The two have been at odds with each other over the years. Lawsuits have been filed, allegations have been made. You would think that the two would hate each other's guts but that simply wasn't the case. One of the real strengths of the DVD is the light it sheds on the Vince/Warrior relationship. The two men don't always have positive things to say about the other, but there was clearly a strong bond there. Warrior recounts the times he would stay at the McMahon family mansion when Vince and co. weren't even present, just because Vince wanted him to be comfortable while he was in town. Perhaps the most emotional part of the DVD is seeing Vince reflect on Warrior giving him a signed copy of the book 'The Little Engine That Could'. Warrior gave it to Vince because it was something that Vince had said about the WWE years ago and something he thought about Warrior, too. Vince is initially puzzled but, remembering the significance of it, becomes teary-eyed. It's nice that Vince and Warrior finally got to bury the hatchet in 2014 and it makes for fascinating viewing.
