Ultimate Warrior's 11 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

6. Vs. The Honky Tonk Man - Summer 1988 House Show Run

Angry Ultimate Warrior

Weirdly, on the touring loop following his Intercontinental Title win at the expense of the Honky Tonk Man at SummerSlam 1988, the deposed Champion was booked to go over the new babyface sensation via count-out on several occasions.

Perhaps the not inconsiderable drawing magic of Honky's snivelling escapology act continued to arouse Vince's interests. Honky scored the count-out win across the east and west coasts when Jimmy Hart drew Warrior to the outside and climbed on his back.

Gauging by the awful opinions spewed by Warrior on the college lecture circuit years and years later, it makes psychological sense that Warrior would not have enjoyed this, at all, and would have become so enraged that he couldn't see past the red mist for the full ten seconds.

This strange string of results was soon reversed by October, after which Warrior won their house show series via disqualification.

Clean rating: Drop D tuning.
