The Undertaker: 10 Landmark Firsts In His WWE Career

4. His First WrestleMania Main Event Was Against Sid - WrestleMania 13

The Undertaker's sixth WrestleMania match was the first time he got to main event the biggest show of them all. He was the babyface challenger to Sid Vicious, who only had a one month reign as the WWE Champion. Undertaker didn't win the Royal Rumble, but he still got the title shot due to the circumstances surrounding others on the show like Steve Austin, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. It's not a match that will be celebrated as one of Undertaker's best because Sid was never that good in the ring. However, it was historic due to the fact that the night ended with Undertaker posing with the WWE Championship, which was his second reign although the first one that really put him on the map as a top guy. He was already close to that level, but this one really cemented his status. He went on to headline two more WrestleManias in 2008 against Edge and 2010 against Shawn Michaels although looking back on his career it probably should have been more than that.
